The new collection is to be launched for the Glasgow Art Fair...

Elliott Wilson, contemporary artist, has exhibited art work with interior angle art design gallery since 2009 selling original art.
Elliott Wilson is an emerging local artist who is not afraid to experiment with a wide range of media. He is developing his brand not through stylistic limitations but through application, thematic collections and bold technique. Thick use of line, textured paint marks and repetition lie harmoniously against the grain of his linen backgrounds, producing bold design-led, highly textural pieces.
Elliott was born in London and grew up in rural Essex. He won a maximum art scholarship to Felsted School, Essex, then studied Business and Politics at Durham University 1996-99 (College of St Hild & St Bede). Elliott was a professional cricketer after leaving university but is now a full time professional artist based still in rural Essex.
Elliott’s studies into business and politics whilst at university inspire his subjects and have made him think conceptually about the world around him. Rather than figurative explanations Elliott encourages the viewer to consider his idea and contemplate the concept behind the simplistic bold forms created.
2010 will be an exciting year for Elliott as we showcase his work at fairs and internationally for the first time and assist him to raise his profile as an emerging contemporary artist. Elliott introduced his work in the Chelmsford Arts Trail 2009 and was selected by interior angle to be submitted for inclusion in our fair portfolio. A captivating first collection will enable Elliott to leave his mark and develop an identity as an innovative contemporary artist.
